Honestly, my first post ever should have introduced you guys to Breakbot. This is my favorite dude in the game right now. There are a handful of guys in the blogosphere who turn everything they touch into gold. Breakbot is at the top of this list. I'm pulling out my music snobbery card right now because I knew about this guy waaaaaaay back when and knew he was destined for great things. Only AFTER earning my seal of approval did Ed Banger Records (home of Justice) sign him. They TOTALLY stole him away from me before I could start up my own record label and swoon Breakbot. I will never forget this Busy P. You're on my shit list...unless I actually meet you in real life in which case I will pretend to be your best friend and smile a lot. I was lucky enough to catch Breakbot when he was spinning in Riverside...I was lucky about the catching Breakbot part, not being in Riverside. Was talking to him afterward and it was funny, even he knew Riverside was, in his own words and French accent, "Kinda ghetto." Hahahah, ohhhh Breakbot, you are a quick study. Luckily, I was able to get a photo snapped with the man. He released a new track "Make You Mine" which will be on his anticipated ep "Baby I'm Yours." Should be rad.
Another dude I just discovered is The Swiss. Guess from where...Australia. Surprise, surprise. Dude knows how to lay down some disco funk.
